The device offers two timing modes: 12h and 24h, with the factory default cycle set to 12h. By pressing the "Mode/View" key, users can check the current timing mode. If the yellow indicator light flickers for 3 times, it indicates the 12H mode, while 3 flickers of the green indicator light signify the 24H mode. Pressing the "Mode/View" key for 3 seconds will change the timing mode, with the corresponding indicator light flashing 3 times to confirm the change. Additionally, the timer will automatically reset to zero.

Activating the "Start" key will force the autofeeder to rotate through a complete cycle, dispensing food once. This will also reset the timer to zero, starting the timing process anew. However, the timing mode will remain unchanged.

Users are advised to change the batteries once every six months. The battery-operated design allows for easy placement without the need for a power outlet (2 x AAA batteries are not included).

The device is simple to use, with a straightforward operation and installation process, offering both manual and automatic modes. It can hold up to 40 grams of food, and the feed lever can be adjusted to regulate the amount of food dispensed.
